Frequently Asked Questions

Are all services the same?

In our  Sunday morning worship services you will enjoy a time of worship and praise through song and you will be challenged by the teaching and preaching from the Bible.  Sunday evening begins with a time of worship and praise followed by preaching and teaching God's Word. Wednesday evening we have a worship service in the main sanctuary that begins with a time of worship and praise followed by teaching from the Bible, while at the same time the AWANA kids program and middle school youth meet.

What is the worship style like?

At Topeka Baptist Church, worship is an integral part of our weekly services. We desire to to lead the congregation in praising and worshiping the Lord from the depths of the heart and soul. We praise the Lord with contemporary music while mixing in traditional favorites. The Worship Team seeks to connect all generations of worshipers to God through music and song. At TBC we use acoustic guitar, piano, drums, bass guitar, keyboard, and more to accompany the congregational voices in praising Jesus Christ for who He is and what He has done for us.

Are there small groups/Sunday school classes for adults?

Yes, we call them Life Groups and they meet at 8:15, 9:15, 10:45 am on Sundays and in the evenings throughout the week. See more on our Life Groups page.

We provide weddings for our church members.

Checking your child in

At Topeka Baptist Church we require all parents and guardians to check in children 5th grade and younger. There are stations in both buildings and volunteers to assist you in the process. The first time checking your child in takes a little extra time to input your information. The next time you check your child in, it is as easy as inputting your cell phone number. We strive to maintain a safe and secure environment for all children and families as they worship and grow at TBC.
