1. Realize God loves you!
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
2. Because of our sin we are separated from God.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
3. The penalty for our sin is death.
“For the wages of sin is death…” Romans 6:23
4. Jesus died in our place.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
5. Salvation is a gift to be accepted.
“…but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
“…believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved…” Acts 16:31
“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
6. If you would like to receive God’s gift of salvation, repent, turn away from your sins, and place your faith in Jesus.
Dear God, I am a sinner in need of salvation. I believe in Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Please forgive me of my sins. Thank you for saving me. Amen.
